To close the exhibition LOCAL / NATIONAL / INTERNATIONAL at Lowry, artist Paloma Proudfoot will be showing a special performance made in collaboration with artist and choreographer Aniela Piasecka, and composer Ailie Ormston. Proudfoot’s ceramic sculptures and relief pieces from her display Lay Figure will be used as part of the performance and this is a fantastic chance to see the objects activated in this way, many of which are already incorporating motifs of the body.

The performance will be followed by a short Q&A with the artists and curator Zoe Watson. It takes place on the last day of the exhibition, so it’s a perfect excuse to visit if you’ve not had a chance to take a look around to see Aliyah Hussain, Renee So and Paloma Proudfoot’s work before.
