When it comes to Scandinavia forget all those TV noir boxsets, the word on everyone’s lips is ‘hygge’, a Danish concept that roughly translates as a feeling of contentment and comfort. The 12th May sees Nordic-influenced restaurant take over the Corn Exchange for a scandi-inspired evening of fine dining and Northern European culture. Expect tastings from Champagne Concept and independent businesses selling Scandinavian products. And speaking of hygge, there’s even a talk from the person who kicked the whole thing off, Signe Johansen, author of the bestselling book ‘How to Hygge’.
