Do you dare take a ride on the Halloween Ghost Train at the East Lancashire Railway this October Half Term? Climb aboard the hair-raisingly spooky steam engine for an hour and a half trip, starting and finishing at Bury Bolton Street Station. Join ghastly ghouls and terrifying monsters, wicked witches and chilling zombies, and a whole host of creepy and terrifying, yet wonderful delights, which will seriously spook out the entire family.

This is not a trip for the faint-hearted. The night will be dark and the train will be haunted by all sorts of spooky characters and terrible curses. Keep an eye out for some of our best spooktacular friends, Count Brian the vampire, Veronica the witch and Bob the Zombie, all on board the train,  to help you to escape a whole host of spine-chilling curses. You’ll also be joined by the Ghoulish Ghosts, who are ready to sing the spooooooookiest songs with you and play some real tricks to get you to join in with their gruesome games.

Is the thought of all this scaring making you hungry? There will be lots of terrifying and tasty treats available from the station buffet throughout the train journey.  The East Lancashire Railway Scream Team also encourage you to dress up in fancy dress. Could you be the scariest ghost on board the Halloween Ghost Train? Or the most petrifying pumpkin? Frighten the whole train with your fearsome face-paint and dreadful disguise.

So book your tickets now and experience this haunting Halloween train ride. It will be horrific. It will be terrifying. It will be wonderful! Expect a journey full of spooktacular fun and enchantment.
