Explore magnificent machines and curious contraptions with a fun, free programme packed with games and challenges suitable for all ages. Open from 23 March – 14 April 2024.

Step inside a world of engineering and creativity as you experiment with the museum’s giant marble run, crafted from reused and recycled materials by the Wild Rumpus team. Play with gravity and friction, designing your own paths and mechanisms.

Tired? Take a break with books inspired by the amazing machines and the brilliant minds who build and maintain them. The new Reading Corner is the perfect spot to unwind and explore stories. As well as this, little ones can develop their problem-solving skills as they join the Explainers on a special mission to hunt for pieces to help fix an engine.

More knowledge can be eaten up and digested at Operation Ouch! Food, Poo, and You, an educational journey where you will  discover how food fuels our bodies. Engage with interactive experiences, learn fascinating facts, and explore the wonders of the digestive system.

Get ready to power up and play your way through the best video games of the past five decades with a ticket to Power Up—the ultimate gaming experience.
