Yorkshire Craft Beers, based in Castlefield, have been scouring god’s own country to find the best Yorkshire based breweries. Their hard work has culminated in the opening of a little bottle shop that feels like a shrine to brewed beverages. Join them for an evening of tasting, talking and tipsiness as you make your way through their expertly curated collection in the Craft Beer Experience.

real people with a lot of passion

Over the course of three hours you’ll sample eight beers, ⅓ of a pint of each. The range in styles, flavours, textures and creation methods will broaden the mind of even the most knowledgeable drinkers. Each beverage you sample has a history behind it and stories involving real people with a lot of passion. You’ll hear these anecdotes as you sample each beer, giving you a deeper context in which to frame the flavours.

a particular hotspot for micro breweries

As well as being a delicious way to spend your Friday night, this light hearted yet educational evening will leave you talking about the flavour profile of your favourite draft or your thoughts on the hop ratios in a newly established micro brewery’s cans. Yorkshire is a particular hotspot for micro breweries, each with their own individual style and spin on craft beer.

you don’t walk away feeling absolutely sozzled

You’ll be hosted by a passionate and well researched member of the Yorkshire Craft Beers team. It’s a warm, welcoming and relaxed event where interaction is encouraged. Alongside the drinks a selection of light snacks will be served, ensuring you don’t walk away feeling absolutely sozzled.

If you’re looking for alternative christmas gifts, this in depth experience would make the perfect present for the beer enthusiast in your life. Or if you want something to look forward to in the new year, just treat yourself!
