A Northern Tr*nny Hootenanny at Waterside, Manchester 13 — 17 May 2025 Tickets from £10.00 — Book now

Saddle up for A Northern Tr*nny Hootenanny – a gloriously camp, queer parody musical from trans artist Hunter King.

Part fairytale, part hootenanny, this brand-new show follows a Northern milkmaid on a hilariously heartfelt journey of gender, joy, and self-discovery.

Expect twisted Disney tunes, bad puns, ridiculous tropes, a damsel in distress, an animal sidekick, villains galore, and a hero who finds his way. Bold, uplifting, and proudly tongue-in-cheek, it’s a joyful celebration of queer identity.

An original commission from Creative Industries Trafford & Waterside Arts – happening as part of Pride in Trafford – this is one wild ride you won’t want to miss.
