Welcome to Yurtshire, a one-of-a-kind glammed-up camping experience in Yorkshire. These handcrafted round yurts are ideal for those looking for a luxury outdoorsy experience, with bookings available for a night, a weekend, or longer.

It’s set on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park, with two beautiful locations to choose from, both surrounded by wild meadow pastures, peaceful woodlands, scenic hills and woodlands.

A one-of-a-kind glammed-up camping experience in Yorkshire

A hidden gem located in North Yorkshire, Fountains Luxury Meadow Yurts is situated just one mile from the world-famous Fountains Abbey and Studley Park World Heritage Site. With a host of local attractions and places to explore nearby, this site is well-located for those looking to discover all Yorkshire has to offer.

Each fully-furnished Luxury Meadow Yurt can sleep up to four guests and is equipped with a private hot tub, solar power lighting for those darker nights, an en-suite bathroom with hot water and a wood-burning stove with logs for cosy nights in. Plus, each yurt is finished with a double bed, a double futon and private kitchen facilities – making Yurtshire an ideal place for couple breaks, family holidays, or a unique getaway with friends.

A recent addition to Yurtshire, Eavestone Lake offers Luxury Tree-Yurt accommodation and a Wellness Spa. Located in the ‘Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this exclusive site sits in a world of woodland, offering incredible views of the stunning countryside.

Perched up in the branches, each self-contained Tree-Yurt has its own private decking area. Much like the meadow yurts, these spaces also feature a breathtaking star window. The Tree-Yurts are also equipped with electricity (with cooker, fridge and coffee machine), a private hot tub with decking area, wood burning stove with logs, an en-suite bathroom with glass ceiling and power shower, plus a nearby sauna in the woods and spa treatments are available.

The secluded Eavestone Lake offers guests the unique experience of wild swimming

Hidden within the woodland, the secluded Eavestone Lake offers guests the unique experience of wild swimming, with cold water therapy offering many benefits to both mind and body – including releasing endorphins, soothing muscles and increasing energy levels.

From May 2023, Eavestone Lake now also invites guests to enjoy the benefits of onsite ice baths. Growing in popularity, ice bathing promises a whole new level of physical and mental stimulation, giving guests a new and exciting opportunity to deeply reconnect with themselves.
