Located at 12 Great George Street in the heart of Leeds, The Northern Market is a vibrant, multi-purpose venue featuring a food market, cinema and beer hall. The bar serves the freshest Northern Monk beers from 10 taps, including their flagship Hazy Pale Ale, Faith, alongside frozen cocktails, wines, and spirits.

This is the second Leeds venue by Northern Monk, alongside Northern Monk Refectory at The Old Flax Store on Marshall Street. It also complements their Refectory bar in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.

The venue boasts four on-site food vendors: Six Slice, offering innovative pizzas; Falafels Guys, specializing in falafel, shawarma, and salads; Big Buns, known for smash burgers and loaded fries; and Bastards Bistro, providing Asian-style street food.

Table bookings are available for groups of up to 16 people.

Additionally, Northern Market offers three bookable spaces. The Lounge, with a capacity of 18-25, offers a panoramic view of the venue, making it perfect for parties and special occasions. The Speakeasy can accommodate 30-50 guests, making it ideal for social gatherings and corporate events, thanks to a private bar section. The Cinema, with a capacity of 18-30, is equipped with AV technology and is suitable for business meetings, film screenings, and lively celebrations.

The Northern Market Leeds is a dynamic and versatile event space with some of the best street food and independent ale options for miles around.
