Doesn’t he know? There’s no such thing as a gruffalo!

Bringing the worlds of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler to life, The Gruffalo & Friends Clubhouse combines six treasured stories to create a spectacular indoor play adventure.

Located on Blackpool’s seafront, The Gruffalo & Friends Clubhouse is the perfect place for little adventure-seekers to let off some steam. Under 10s can immerse themselves in play, discovery and imagination across six zones, and come face to face with fantastic characters from The Gruffalo, Zog, The Snail and the Whale, Room on the Broom and more.

Whether kids want to use their climbing skills with Mouse or enrol into Dragon School with Zog, there’s plenty to keep them occupied. The Deep Dark Wood Adventure Play, The Deep Dark Wood Soft Play and The Snail and Whale Seaside Play promise adventures aplenty, while Gruffalo’s Child Sensory Room offers a quieter, more relaxing play experience. Just be aware that some of these play areas may have height restrictions.

There’s also a special toddler area for kids under three years old. Room on the Broom Toddler Play is home to Witch, Cat, Dog, Bird and Frog, who are on hand to help small adventurers climb, wriggle and slide their way through narrative pieces.

And if your little ones need a break from all that adrenaline-fuelled play, they can meet their favourite characters in the Meet & Greet area, where the Clubhouse Crew wake the Gruffalo for a celebratory end-of-show party. Meet the terrible creature himself and take your best photos home with you.

With a handy café on site, you can grab a bite to eat and meet the HighWay Rat, who keeps the little ones occupied while adults get their caffeine fix.
