A refreshing little way just outside the city centre, The Brunswick offers great food, shabby chic decor and a whole range of real ales and craft beers on tap and in cans and bottles. A great place to relax and drink something new.

Located up on North Street, this modern neighbourhood pub is loved for its home cooked food and wide range of ever-changing cask ales and keg beers. Sitting opposite Lovell Park, it’s in very good company – surrounded by a host of other popular independent businesses – and is perfect for sunny afternoons, with plenty of outdoor seating and takeaways available for those who want to sit back and relax with something nice in the park.

A great choice for a pre-show meal or a couple of drinks before heading out for the evening.

First founded in 2015, for the last decade The Brunswick has been serving up a weekly menu of delicious burgers Tuesday to Saturday, with choices including its signature house smashed burger with pork cheek and hash browns, a classic cheese burger, and vegetarian and vegans options. Elsewhere, you’ll find plates of fried chicken with aioli, a host of tasty sides and dips, and plates of freshly shucked oysters to boot.

The pub also boasts a huge range of beers to choose from, with more than 50 different options in its fridges as well as 9 keg lines and 6 cask hand pulls. Add to this seasonal cocktails, wines, spirits and a large low and no selection, and you’ll see there’s something for everyone here. It also serves a cracking Sunday roast that also happens to be one of the best rated in Leeds – so make sure to book ahead, as they regularly sell out.

A short walk from some of Leeds’ biggest cultural attractions, a five to ten minute stroll up from The Brunswick will take you up to Leeds First Direct Arena, Yorkshire Playhouse, and Leeds Grand Theatre. It’s also close to Leeds O2 Academy, Temple of Boom, and The Key Club, making it a great choice for a pre-show meal or a couple of drinks before heading out for the evening.
