On the Wall is a bespoke framing service also selling art, film and comic prints and stretched bloc canvases. A one-stop shop for all your art prints, posters, gifts and memorabilia, this specialist picture retailer is definitely worth a visit when browsing your way through the historic Corn Exchange.

This funky little independent shop is not only home to an expert picture framing service, it’s also something of a mecca for art prints large and small – particularly of the musical variety. If you’re a big poster fan, look no further, because at On The Wall you’ll find everything from retro Bowie to Tupac Shakur, The Buzzcocks, and Bob Dylan on sale.

With hundreds of different musical posters and art prints to choose from, opt for a traditional reprint of your favourite album or go for something a little more left field: an artist’s impression of rapper Stormy, perhaps, or a black and white portrait of Jiimi Hendrix. Whether it’s photography, illustration or retro posters that do it for you, there’s so many different options – so make sure to dedicate a decent amount of time to browsing on your visit, you’ll definitely want to dig through the archives here.

That said, it’s not all posters and pictures – there are also a good selection of gifts for sale, including a large collection of 1,000+ piece jigsaws that continue the art theme with reworkings of famous paintings such as L.S. Lowry’s Going to Work or Vincent Van Gogh’s Almond Blossom. Elsewhere, you’ll find a selection of stylish greeting cards and a handful of silly ones, notepads and more – all perfect for gifting.

The shop also offers a bespoke picture framing service, allowing you to make the absolute most out of your artwork displays. Tailored to fit all shapes and sizes, On The Wall’s collection features a wide selection of frames including the gilded and glitzy, sleek, and minimal. There is also a large choice of coloured mounts to display your pieces on, and – if you require it – the shop can also professionally stretch loose canvas onto wooden frames where needed.

Items that can be framed include art prints, paintings, canvases, posters, mirrors, textile art, CDs, vinyl records and their sleeves, and other memorabilia. The world really is your oyster here, when you start to get creative with it. Open seven days a week, make sure to pop in on your next visit to The Corn Exchange for a browse.
