NQ64 is the perfect place for every right-minded soul who likes video games, drinks and catching up with friends. Expect plenty of retro arcade games and a token-based system, plus great drinks and friendly staff. Relive those glory days of cigarette-smoke-smelling dingy arcades in seaside towns, but brought bang up to date.

Over summer 2023 this wildly popular venue levelled up, moving to a bigger site on Tib Street (previously Dive Bar) that boasts booths and banquette seating galore. It increased the venue’s indoor capacity to 350 people, and added an outdoor terrace (with even more arcade machines) allowing customers to game away in the open air.

You’ll find all or old arcade favourites here, including Guitar Hero, Pac Man, Street Fighter, and Time Crisis, alongside ‘Pop-A-Shot’ (the basketball shooting game) and a ‘Wall Boy’ which elevates the Game Boy to a large screen for all your mates to watch you fail at Super Mario.

Taking as much pride in its drinks selection as it does its games, you can sup on game-themed cocktails like the Power Star Martini (a twist on a passionfruit martini), the Dr Ro Bev Nik, a cherry Old Fashioned, and the Kong Island Iced Tea, inspired by — you guessed it — Donkey Kong.

Plus, there’s an extensive offering of craft beers, wines, spirits, sodas and non-alcoholic cocktails, as well as a bunch of old-school childhood favourite snacks such as Space Raiders & Monster Munch — all the fun of childhood, but for adults now.
