Getting up close and personal with famous faces has never been easier. Located on Blackpool’s Promenade, Madame Tussauds is home to over 80 waxwork figures of celebrities, musicians and athletes, as well as film and TV characters. The latest addition to the collection is Alison Hammond, who joined the ranks in April 2024.

There are a fair few different zones to choose from. There’s the A-List Award party, which features celeb waxworks including Beyoncé, Brad Pitt, Lady Gaga and Angelina Jolie, and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, where you can join Ant and Dec for a creepy crawly adventure.

One of the most popular zones is the Marvels section, which features plenty of fan favourites. Discover your power with Captain Marvel, enter an ice cave to come face to face with Thor, and test your strength with The Incredible Hulk. You’ll also get to hang out with Iron Man and Spiderman before lining up next to Rocket and Groot.

If superheroes aren’t quite your thing, you can visit the Strictly Experience, where you can meet judge Craig Revel Horwood, along with uber-glam presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. Be sure to take a sneak peek backstage to see the show’s glittering costume wardrobe.

There’s also a brand-new Festival Fields section. This features pop sensations like Harry Styles, Olly Murs and Lewis Capaldi, as well as YouTube and music megastar KSI.

And if all that wasn’t quite enough, you can even pull up a pint at The Rovers Return. Coronation Street’s famous pub is home to popular characters like David Platt, Michelle Connor, Jack and Vera Duckworth and Bet Lynch.

Whether you want to see some red-carpet royalty or your favourite soap stars, this is a great rainy-day activity that will keep the whole family happy.
