Evuna Altrincham

Evuna Altrincham

The wildly popular Evuna family of tapas restaurants dates back to 2003, with the Altrincham branch opening in 2019. Evuna’s origins were based around importing wine and suitably, that plays a major part today, with a wonderful selection of Spanish wines to sit in and sip, or to purchase and save for a special occasion.

Based in a former bank on Stamford New Road, the space is elegant but with a charmingly laid-back atmosphere, thanks to the friendly staff and informal layout. There’s a tapas bar for two dozen diners, plus a more formal dining area, as well as an open kitchen so visitors can watch the expert chefs do their magic.

The food is as fantastic as you’ve come to expect from the award-winning Evuna team

The decor is wonderful, all huge windows, warm lighting and rustic wooden floors – grab a seat by the window and watch the world go by while sampling some of the finest small plates in Altrincham.

The food is as fantastic as you’ve come to expect from the award-winning Evuna team, including the full tapas menu featuring all the greatest hits, such as goat’s cheese croquetas with alioli, patatas bravas and giant garlic prawns with chilli and oil, but the menu also offers a host of regional specials, designed for the people of Altrincham alone. The Sunday roast menu is especially noteworthy, putting a mouthwatering Iberian twist on the British stalwart.

Keep an eye out for their regular wine tasting and food pairing events, which are often hosted by visiting Spanish winemakers

The head chef has even created an all-new main course menu, specifically for this branch, making this a must-visit destination for all fans of high-quality Spanish food. Keep an eye out for their regular wine tasting and food pairing events, which are often hosted by visiting Spanish winemakers. Thanks to community-oriented events like these, plus its exciting and varied menu, Evuna brings a true taste of Spain to Altrincham.
