Manchester Restaurant Deals

Ian Jones, Food and Drink Editor

New year, new you, new set of jaw-droppingly good deals from Manchester restaurants. Whether you’re looking to start 2023 on a health kick or ignore the ever-increasingly grim news cycle by eating your way to happiness (it works, I’m living proof), we have the lot here.

So save some pounds, maybe even drop some pounds, but more importantly, take your beau out for a date or three during these next two or three months. Or if you’re happily single, take yourself out for a date. It’s a thing apparently.

Here’s our guide to the best restaurant deals in the city (and in a few cases, beyond) – all independents, all tried and tested, all doing something a little special.

Here are our picks

In January, Peru Perdu brings back their unbeatable 50% off food offer, which delighted many a diner early in 2022. Throughout the month, diners can take advantage of all-day menu favourites, such as ceviche, empanadas and Uruguayan Wet Aged Steak, at half their normal price (we’ve checked it, and that works out at 50%, maths fans).

For those who are looking to reduce their alcohol intake, or cut it out altogether, Peru Perdu has also announced its ‘No and Lo Cócteles’ menu.

Here, classic Peru Perdu mixes have been reimagined with the finest natural zero-alcohol spirits, featuring mood-enhancing adaptogens and natural plant-based stimulants, aphrodisiacs and nootropics, with microdoses of their favourite spirits to deepen the flavour.

On this menu, the much-loved Chinoa Picante contains no alcohol at all, and features Three Spirit Livener, Everleaf Forest, scotch bonnet syrup, passionfruit and vanilla. Another favourite, the Lavender and Coconut, contains a micro amount of alcohol, with Three Spirit Livener, micro Eminente rum, pineapple and citrus.

Other items on the ‘No and Lo’ include alternative wines, as well as zero-alcohol beers and cider.
