Vintage at Manchester Cathedral, Cathedral Quarter 26 — 27 August 2016 Entrance is free — Visit now

This summer, visitors to the stunning Manchester Cathedral will literally get to see it in a new light: due to ongoing renovation, they have “turned the nave around”. What could be more glorious than hunting for vintage clothes, jewellery and furniture against the backdrop of the beautiful wall of light created by Anthony Holloway’s stained glass windows?

After combing for curios, vintage fashionistas can get style tips and makeovers from resident beauticians – making this one of the best vintage experiences in the North West. It’s worth catching the late night opening until 8pm on Friday 26th for the fashion show at 6.30pm and factoring in time on both days to enjoy live music, tea, cake and cocktails too.

Sartorial sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the mainstream. Bliss.
