Upswing: Bedtime Stories at Contact Theatre, Manchester 25 — 26 October 2016 Tickets from £7.00 — Book now

Is there anything more magical than a bedtime story? Get under the covers and snuggle up with your family for this new production aimed at kids aged 3-10. The show comes from Upswing, who specialise in circus-style performance pieces. Expect stories, acrobatics and much more besides.

Bedtime Stories was co-written Yusra Warsama, whose recent show on FGM was met with critical acclaim. While this isn’t in that same hard-hitting line it is still nice to know it comes from an artist with a prodigious storytelling pedigree. This show at Manchester’s Contact Theatre is immersive, enthralling and entertaining – a good way to settle in to the long winter evenings.
