The Untold Orchestra presents Movements a meditative work exploring the experience of black creatives through a mix of music, dance and spoken word.

Movement is a dynamic multi-artform production seeking to address the tribulations and experiences of black creatives. Created by The Untold Orchestra, Movement is a compelling collaborative performance capturing experiences of ‘archetypal roles, stereotypes and expectations’ black artists and communities in Manchester face.

With collaborators including Shirley May, Jenna G, Chunky, Yemi Bolatiwa, Cookie Love, Maisha Kungu, Seren Marimba and the NIA Choir, Movement is a continuation of The Untold Orchestra’s response to Nina Simone’s Four Women created as a digital performance in 2021.
