Head to Shakespeare North Playhouse to watch some of the most reviled women in classic literature come to life on stage. From infanticidal Medea to fratricidal Goneril, watch as they explain themselves or simply revel in their crimes.

Ambitious and uncompromising, The Red Queen & Other Monsters has been created by Ink and Curtain Theatre Company for the Shakespeare North Playhouse’s first birthday programme, which runs from 1-31 July 2023.
