Visit Sunny Bank Mills and learn the techniques and process of stone carving in a two day weekend workshop with sculptor Dominic Hopkinson. Stone Carving is a centuries old art form that has been using the same tools and material to create magnificent structures since Antiquity, Michelangelo, Bernini and Rodin. You too can pick up those tools and start creatively thinking in three dimensions.

All materials and a dust mask will be provided as well as refreshments (including homemade cake). It’s advised to wear warm clothing that you don’t mind getting messy as the workshop is outside and under cover.
