Shake the City allows you to hear the unheard voices of brilliant northern women and observe the very essence of female friendship, grit and empowerment. Join the extraordinary Women of Harehills to celebrate their quirks, pain and triumphs and stand with them to Shake The City at Leeds Playhouse. All this accompanied by brilliant Northern Soul music and brought to the stage by an exciting northern creative team and cast.

This play is based on the clothworkers strike in Leeds, 1970.
