Record Store Day at Vinyl Exchange, Manchester, 13 April 2019, free entry - Visit now
First opening its doors in 1998, Vinyl Exchange has been a treasured institution in Manchester for over 30 years. Located on the corner of Northern Quarter’s Oldham Street, it’s the largest seller and buyer of rare and second-hand records, CDs and DVDs in the north-west of England, making it the city’s capital of serendipitous finds. It also stocks a quality array of new releases, spanning every genre.
Sure to be jam-packed as usual, on the big day they’ll be giving out handy lists detailing all of the Record Store Day releases on offer in store. Alongside niche artists like Sigur Ros, you can expect the best of the big names, including Prince, Bowie, Madonna, Pink Floyd, Motorhead, Gorillaz, Fleetwood Mac, Lou Reed, The Doors and Morrissey.
