What better way to open Cloudspotting 2017 than with a breathtaking set from Moulettes? The Brighton-based band are made up of multi-talented musicians who play cello, bassoon and auto-harp, among countless other instruments – to produce songs that seamlessly span pop, rock, folk and world music.

Citing influences as diverse as Björk, Gentle Giant, Nick Cave and Pink Floyd, Moulettes originally formed in Glastonbury in 2002. Now a five-piece, they have gone on to become firm favourites at the likes of Bestival, Cambridge Folk Festival, Green Man – and, following this Friday night performance, no doubt Cloudspotting too.
