Storyhouse’s Moonlight Flicks series turns drive-in for 2020, with a series of outdoor screenings held at Linenhall Car Park in partnership with Chester Race Company. Films will be shown on a 30ft screen, while audio is provided direct to your vehicle from an FM radio broadcast. The socially distant cinema experience is supplemented by wood-fired pizzas and retro sweets, all available to pre-order direct to your car with contactless delivery.

In terms of films, drivers can book to see Emily Blunt in Rob Marshall’s Mary Poppins Returns on Friday 10 July. The following day there is a screening Steven Spielberg’s iconic dino-disaster-flick Jurassic Park (Sat 11 July), while film fans can round out the weekend with Whoopi Goldberg as undercover as a musically minded nun in Sister Act on Sunday 12 July. Films start at 9:30 each night, while prices vary according to car size and number of occupants.
