Join Bluecoat online for a first-ever live reading of A Belly of Irreversibles (2020), by writer Maria Fusco. This newly commissioned lyric essay accompanies Sean Edwards’ Wales in Venice exhibition Undo Things Done at Bluecoat, Liverpool. In their respective practices as writer and artist, Fusco and Edwards both interrogate what it means to grow up ‘not expecting much’ and for this experience to shape expectations and be legible to others. Exploring ideas around working classness as a method (Fusco) and as a shared visual language (Edwards), the event also focuses on Maria Fusco’s writing for stage, radio and publication.

This event takes place via Zoom. Attendees will be emailed the Zoom link upon booking.
