An annual highlight by way of festive concerts, Manchester’s Christmas Gospel sees Manchester and London’s finest gospel artists, including Wayne Ellington, Michelle John, and Clinton Jordan, serving up a unique twist on Christmas classics at Manchester’s storied jazz venue, Band on the Wall.

Hosting will be Wayne Ellington, seen on The Voice UK 2018 and as part of the Kingdom Choir who helped to create a musical landscape that will be remembered for decades, performing at the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. More locally, he’s the founder of the vibrant community choir Manchester Inspirational Voices, who this year succeeded in reaching the finals of the Songs of Praise Gospel Choir of the Year – no mean feat considering the explosion of gospel choirs around the country.

But Ellington’s got a fantastic voice of his own, which will combine with two more standout gospel vocalists, Michelle John and Clinton Jordan. Both of whom have shared the stage with world class artists, and are primed to deliver an unforgettable performance that blends gospel, soul, jazz, and R&B within some of your favourite Christmas classics.

If you’re after an uplifting Christmas concert, you’ll not be disappointed with this one.
