Manchester welcomes in the new year with the all the whizzbangery you’d expect from the annual fireworks display. For this year though, Manchester’s New Year’s Eve fireworks have been moved from their traditional home at Albert Square, to Manchester Cathedral at the other end of Deansgate.

Warning, there will be no alcohol for sale and it’s very much not a BYOB event.
