manchester jazz festival 2025 culminates with a free celebration at Aviva Studios. Expect to see a triple bill of genre-pushing European jazz artists alongside the best local talent.

Make your way to the Social for manchester jazz festival’s international shows and then head outside to the Undercroft for some spectacular unplugged performances from artists closer to home – including a 25-piece choir and a high-energy roaming brass band.

Headlining in the Social is French saxophonist, clarinetist and composer Sylvain Rifflet. Plus, Belgian jazz band N∆BOU and Turkish vocalist Sanem Kalfa make their UK debuts.

In wonderful contrast, in the Undercroft, you’ll find award-winning vocalist, sound and performance artist Lou Barnell alongside the 25-strong Sheffield Neighbourhood Voices, and Young Pilgrims – the new brass band making waves on Birmingham’s jazz scene.

The perfect closing shows for mjf’s 30th anniversary edition.

This event is happening as part of Factory International’s free programme of events.
