Meet Maggie McCallow, a Victorian match girl involved in the match factory strike of 1888 and find out how she campaigned for better rights for workers. Her story inspired The People’s History Museum’s Fabric of Protest group to create a banner commemorating their campaign.

This event has been supported with a grant from Manchester City Council.
