Gin’s renaissance has changed the way we collectively drink on a night out. It has created a playground for distilleries to try out new flavours, methods of production and an infinite amount of new cocktails. In Manchester we are blessed with multiple local distilleries including Four Sis4ers. Join them for a Gin Tasting Experience where you’ll learn what makes them stand out from the crowd.

The afternoon starts with a classic and refreshing Gin and Tonic, which you can sip away at whilst hearing the story behind Four Sis4ers, how they came to start the distillery and where they plan to take it in the future. You’ll also take a brief look at the history of Gin. Compared to most beverages it has quite a colourful and unexpected legacy which ranges from royalty to slums.

After a brief history lesson, you’ll venture into the family distillery where you can find the beautiful glowing copper stills. This is where you’ll learn exactly how gin is made and what can be done in the process to alter the flavour, alcohol percentage and quality of the end product. In this part of the experience you’ll also have the opportunity to sample two of Four Sis4ers Gins.

After the tour you can put your taste buds to the test with further gin tastings before finishing the experience with a final gin and tonic or cocktail. We would advise not planning any extensive exercise, family commitments or being responsible for probably anything after a fun afternoon in the distillery.

If you know someone who is particularly partial to a G&T you can also buy gift vouchers for the Gin Tasting Experience, letting you give the gift of a good time to your loved ones.

If you enjoy the Four Sis4ers gin tasting you can usually catch their Seven Bro7hers brewery as part of the Craft Beer Tour Manchester.
