Many people have a guitar lurking in a cupboard somewhere which they keep promising to master one day. This autumn could be just the time to do that. In a collaboration between Partisan and the New School of Music, ten weeks of completely free guitar lessons will commence from the 25th of September. With each session building on the last, you’ll soon get to grips with this versatile instrument. Having access to the individual attention needed to learn an instrument can be hard to find, in this course you’ll be taught in a small group where each individual is given the space to learn.

As a recent addition to Manchester, the New School of Music is a music school whose aim is to bring high-quality musical tuition into familiar spaces, with affordable or no fees. As well as running courses for specific instruments the school also offers music lessons for a range of abilities as well as composition and theory lessons.

The guitar course starts on the 25th and runs weekly for the next ten Wednesdays after that.
