The cutting-edge of what Manchester has to offer, while being welcoming to all

This communal hub situated under the Mancunian Way has gone from strength to strength in recent months, tripling in size and bringing together a magnificent mix of traders. The ethos is all about independence, creativity, community and great food. A day or evening spent here is at the cutting-edge of what Manchester has to offer, while also being welcoming to all.

This is Manchester’s first sustainable Christmas market, with over 25 eco-friendly brands providing all kinds of top-quality gifts for all your family members this Christmas season. Along with a range of stalls, you’ll find live entertainment, mulled wine and the kind of excellent food options we’ve come to expect from Hatch.

Hatch’s always-excellent in-house food vendors and mini restaurants have rustled up some festive-themed treats

Parents should make a beeline for the Little Elf Workshops, held every Friday starting on November 29th (11am – 1.30pm) at just £5 per child. There’s a ball pit, soft play area and plenty of Christmas-themed craft activities. If you’re looking to do some Christmas shopping – while taking in a spot of food and drink on the way – you can leave your kids are in the safe hands of The Playhouse Project.

And you can even take part in some late-night Christmas shopping, starting from Thursday 21st November (6pm – 8pm), weekly until Christmas. But this is a little more special than your average shopping expedition. There are DJs, Christmas festivities and all kinds of entertainment to turn what’s normally a chore, into something genuinely fun. Hatch’s always-excellent in-house food vendors and mini restaurants have rustled up some festive-themed treats, while the on-site bars have a range of Christmas drinks to enjoy in between perusing the wares at the many independent retailers.

This endlessly exciting space has everything you could possibly need

But that’s just a small selection of what’s on offer at Evergreen at Hatch this November and December. The fashion-conscious can pick up some exclusive items of clothing, or settle in for a stylish haircut courtesy of one of Manchester’s best barber shops, The Portland Barbers. You even get a brand new tattoo or get your trainers professionally cleaned, take part in a festive quiz or enjoy some open mic performers. The choice is endless at Hatch this Christmas. This endlessly exciting space has everything you could possibly need, underpinned with an eco-friendly, independently-minded outlook.
