Choo Choo! Choo Choo! Can you hear the familiar sound of everyone’s favourite steam train pulling into the station? Thomas the Tank Engine and the Fat Controller have come all the way from the magical island of Sodor to Bury Bolton Street Station, to see you and your family for a special day out.

Arrive forty-five minutes early to greet Thomas into the station. Once you’ve said hello, it will be time to climb aboard his famous blue carriage. The Fat Controller will meet you on board for a fun-packed, totally awesome adventure through the stunning Lancashire countryside to Ramsbottom station.

The journey is not over yet. You and your favourite blue steam train will be transported back to Bury Bolton Street Station by a speedy diesel train, for even more fun and games at Bury Transport Museum. Entry to the museum is included with your ‘Day out With Thomas’ ticket.

At the museum, you will have the opportunity to get involved with fun, Thomas-themed activities. There will be creative story-telling and lively singing, dancing and entertaining by Sodor’s number one station sweepers, Rusty and Dusty, who are bound to make you giggle! Also included with your ticket are socially distanced Magic Shows, which will bewilder and mesmerise the whole family.

So book your tickets for this East Lancashire Railway experience today and join Thomas, the most useful engine, for an unforgettable steam train experience.
