Chloe Foy celebrates the release of her new EP, Callous Copper, at The King’s Arms in Salford with a specially curated evening of music.

“I adore string music and think so much can be brought out in a song with the addition of violin, viola and ‘cello.” explains Chloe, “So that’s what I’ve aimed for here – a collection of songs, old and new and a cover of one of my favourites by Neil Young. All about birth, love, death and everything in between. The intricate complexities of life and living.”

To help realise the sound of Callous Copper live, the Manchester-based folk artist is joined on her lastest tour by a string trio. Having completed a solo tour last year and previously supported the likes of Jesca hoop and graced the stages of SXSW, this is an opportunity to experience Foy’s music in more intimate surrounds.

Support comes from spoken word artist Nasima Bee Poet and the excellent Caoilfhionn Rose.
