The Grand Theatre Blackpool certainly brings variety this season – with rich and diverse programming, there really is a performance for everyone. This spring/summer sees Blackpool Grand stage classic adaptations alongside more inventive reimaginations.

Following an outstanding West-End run and a succession of five-star reviews, The Kite Runner is an unmissable tour de force based on the best-selling novel by Khaled Hosseini. There’s also a fresh and fun new adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s family classic, The Jungle Book.

For Shakespeare with a difference, the multi award-winning Mark Bruce Dance Company present a compelling dance adaptation of Macbeth. A gripping must-see for dance enthusiasts and fans of Shakespeare’s ‘Scottish play’. Younger dancers will be enthralled with the English National Ballet’s magical My First Ballet: Swan Lake, suitable for ages 3 and up and running at just ninety minutes – it’s the perfect introduction to one of the most famous ballets of all time.

With a real focus on family entertainment, there is plenty to enjoy at Blackpool Grand – just be sure to keep your eyes peeled for that T-Rex in the astonishing Dinosaur World Live.
