Manchester Museum’s monthly Big Saturday events are always fit to burst with a plethora of engaging activities relating to the world around us and what better start for the new year than a positive day themed around the little and large things that “make our world wonderful”.

Artists, storytellers and Museum staff will host a variety of creative events revealing Manchester Museum’s own collections and stories with the opportunity for families to contribute their own thoughts too.

Our Wonderful World is linked to the Museum’s current project with the Common Cause Foundation which aims to build wellbeing and “positive social and environmental change” in Manchester as the city gears up for devolution.

Whether it’s the beauty of nature, kindness or your granny’s cooking that makes your world wonderful, we like that this event can get families of all ages, shapes and sizes talking and thinking together.
