Instituto Cervantes Manchester is throwing open its doors this September for an Autumn Open Day and everyone’s invited.

Instituto Cervantes is the largest worldwide Spanish teaching organisation and its Deansgate-based branch hosts a wide range of Spanish language classes and cultural activities including performance, literature, music, cinema and art throughout the year. You’ll get to sample this all for free when the venue throws its doors on 16 September – plus, anyone attending the Autumn Open Day will also be able to take advantage of a 10% discount on all language courses too.

Expect Spanish food and wine, live demonstrations of flamenco, tango and salsa dancing, activities that the whole family can enjoy, with prizes that include a free language course, dance course and DELE official examiner course. All of the events are presented in English too, meaning that you don’t need to be a Spanish speaker to enjoy them.

The Autumn Open Day also offers a taster of upcoming events at Instituto Cervantes. The centre’s year-round cultural programme includes visits from major film directors and writers, screenings and readings, and Spanish language classes (in-person and online) for all ages and abilities.

Get yourselves down to Deansgate for a taste of Spain without even stepping foot out of Manchester.
