This spring, Leeds Playhouse presents a fresh and engaging adaptation of George Orwell’s Animal Farm, an exploration of power, corruption, and revolution. Directed by Amy Leach with design by Hayley Grindle, this new production offers a vibrant and contemporary take on Orwell’s timeless allegory.

Still as relevant today as when it was first published in 1945, Tatty Hennessy’s new adaptation takes Orwell’s thought-provoking themes of treachery and rebellion and places them vividly on stage, offering a timely reminder of the perils of unchecked power.

In the year George Orwell’s political fable marks its 80th anniversary, this fresh production of Animal Farm offers a gripping reimagining of the classic satire, inviting audiences to reflect on the dangers of power and corruption in today’s world.
