Simply Books is an award-winning independent bookshop based in the heart of Bramhall, just south of Manchester. Simply Books won Best Bookshop in the North in the British Books Awards 2025, and as well as selling books and hosting author talks, you’ll also find language classes, writing workshops, and over 30 different book clubs for adults and children. As a pillar of the community for more than 20 years, you would be hard pressed to find someone local who does not have a link to the shop in some way. Simply Books’ new owners are Karen and her son Ben, and his girlfriend Jess.
