One of the most recent additions to the Baltic Triangle in Liverpool, Parliament Square Coffee was was founded by husband and wife team Chris and Hayley in June 2023. It’s located on the ground floor of a shiny new residential building and blends into the surroundings but if you’re in the area, don’t miss it because you’d be depriving yourself of an excellent cup of coffee.

Between them, the couple have two decades of combined hospitality experience and they wanted to put it to good use through consistently high quality speciality coffee and a fresh brunch menu in a modern, welcoming space. The lights are low and there is plenty of seating – it’s one of the more spacious cafés in the area which is always good to know if you have suitcases or a pram. The interior is minimalist and leafy, with dark colours working well in a mostly glass-walled space. It’s a great space to bring your laptop in and order cup after cup of delicious coffee (there’s fast internet too) but also ideal for larger gatherings.

Parliament Square Coffee serves a house coffee blend roasted by a local roastery Neighbourhood Coffee (and chosen by PSC’s Head of Coffee), and there’s a guest blend on offer too, from different international roasteries changing on a regular basis.

The brunch menu is created from local, fresh ingredients and supplemented by seasonal specials, all available between 8am and 3pm. Of course, you’ll find fresh pastries, hot and cold sandwiches, and pasta boxes too.

Parliament Street Coffee is undoubtedly a highlight of the Baltic Triangle’s speciality coffee scene with a clean look and pleasant atmosphere – what more could you want?
