A plush addition to the city’s cinema scene, the Everyman Manchester St John’s is a comfortable boutique venue designed for luxury moviegoing. There’s a full bar menu, hot food – why not try the Spielburger? – and snacks on offer within a swish seated bar area. If you’d prefer to indulge under the flicker of the silver screen, then there’s always the waiter service available to your cinema seats.

Film-wise, the programme at Everyman Manchester swings to the independent-end of mainstream, meaning there’s space for all of the latest prestige pictures and annual Oscar hopefuls. As is standard at Everyman, the three good-size screens are extravagantly decked out with intimate sofa seating that’s bound to impress.
