The Con Club Altrincham

The Con Club Altrincham

The Con Club is a unique dining destination in the heart of Altrincham. Based on Greenwood Street in what used to be the Working Men’s Conservative Club, the menu is geared around classic meat and seafood dishes, as well as high-grade sushi options.

The restaurant is very easy on the eye, all smart, modern industrial aesthetics, but the food is the main draw here. The ingredients are all locally sourced and as high-quality as possible, with premium cuts of meat and impossibly fresh seafood, sushi and sashimi.

The seasonal menus cover breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week, and the high-grade coffee means it’s worth popping in daily to what’s new on the ever-changing menu.

The menu is wide-ranging but everything fits together perfectly, delivering excellent food for all tastes

The dishes are inspired by the travels of the owners while remaining firmly rooted in Altrincham’s high-quality food heritage. Mains include mouthwatering delights like Yakatori beef, salt and pepper tofu or harissa-marinated lamb chops from the grill. There’s a wealth of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, making it perfect for small get-togethers with friends. And when restrictions are eased, there’s a glorious upstairs space for private dining or events, with room for over 50 diners.

The Con Club is a perfect example of Altrincham’s dazzling food scene. The menu is wide-ranging but everything fits together perfectly, delivering excellent food for all tastes, set in beautiful surroundings. If you’re looking to plan a birthday, meeting or even a wedding party, The Con Club has the looks, range and in-house talent to make it run perfectly.
