4. mad about the house

5. The Beat That My Heart Skipped
Call us nosy, but our very favourite blogs are the ones sharing insight into the life of the person on the other side of the computer screen. Rohini Wahi is that sort of blogger, sharing photos from a trip to Calcutta, or an afternoon spent at a Rembrandt exhibition, with design, architecture and bang-on interior inspiration throughout. Read it here.
Grafik may be defunct in touchy-feely print form, but this online version continues to be a go-to for graphic design and visual culture. Read it here.
7. Decorator’s Notebook
This Bristol-based brother and sister team blog about ethical and sustainable design, while also running a homeware shop sourcing products from social enterprises and co-operatives around the world. Read it here.
8. My Friend’s House
Friends Ros Anderson and Jill Macnair collaborate on this gem of a blog, which spans records of junk-shop rekeys, photo series of social-housing projects, DIY ideas, and studio visits – including a particularly wonderful tour of the Eley Kishimoto studio in Brixton. Read it here.
Into clean lines, Eames chairs and beautiful typographic posters? Feed your vices by bookmarking the excellently named Obsessilicious, pronto. Read it here.
10. Chocolate Creative
When she’s not busy running her homeware brand of the same name, blogger Margarita Lorenzo shares her love of handmade and vintage design via Chocolate Creative. There are lots of reasons here to rub your hands together and exclaim “corr!”, including tours of design shops, and updates from her own business. Read it here.
