Try|Trying|Tried at Theatre Delicatessen Sheffield, Sheffield 22 July 2023 Tickets from £7.00 — Book now

Created and performed by Shelley Owen and Josh Slater at Theatre Deli Sheffield, Try|Trying|Tried is a dance duet exploring the places we have been, the conversations we have had and the vulnerability we feel.

Engaging and meditative, the performance dives into the heart of human relationships to explore our innate vulnerability and desires. What do we choose to share? And how do we disguise our vulnerability? Try|Trying|Tried is a captivating study of two people who share meetings, smiles, and a desire to just be.

Shelley Owen is an independent performance artist, researcher, curator and mentor who creates dance and interdisciplinary work internationally. Josh Slater is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for Dance at De Montfort University in Leicester, as well as a contemporary dance artist, theatre maker and performer, and director of enCompass Collective.
