Afflecks, the city’s indie shopping emporium, is elebrating LGBTQ+ history month in the heart of Manchester by hosting a special exhibition across Afflecks’ Tib Street entrance rainbow stairwell. As a self-professed haven for the local LGBTQ+ community, Afflecks is the perfect place to celebrate the occasion.

Afflects teamed up with HEADS Magazine to celebrate Northern Drag Queens and the second edition of HEADS called ‘The Queens’. The display will honour 15 Drag Queens from the North of England, including Lady Bushra and Bailey J Mills.

The photographs themselves were taken by Manchester based photographer (and HEADS founder) Liam Heeley and will be displayed in all of their flamboyant, colourful glory all month.
