Scheduled for Sunday 5 & 19 September, The Black Cinema Project presents four BFI short films at Leeds Industrial Museum. The films are screening in the little known Heritage Cinema which is nestled within the museum, and they have been selected by The Black Cinema Project for the ways in which they explore universal themes of the adult world of migration, belonging and communities, through the eyes of children.

They range in subject from an exploration of the barriers in ballet, to the Windrush arrival in post war London and the significance of culture to our identity. The event is free of charge with purchase of a museum ticket and visitors can choose from two scheduled screenings on two separate days.
