Hip hop, carnival, salsa and bhangra collide in a high-energy celebration of street dance and global sounds at Aviva Studios. Part of the ongoing Street Symphony series – which launched in 2024 to spotlight dance and music rooted in community and cultural expression – this summer sees the party taking over indoors and out, across the venue’s Social and Undercroft.

Expect live music, freestyle cyphers, social dancing, DJs, workshops, and more – plus, food and drink to keep you going. Highlights include a salsa marathon with La Suerte Dance School, a show-stopping bhangra and dhol drumming set from Manchester favourites Bhangracise, and an Afrosounds special from Pie Radio with top local DJs. Groovanometry bring the heat with a hip hop dance cypher you won’t want to miss.

Bring the whole family, soak up the party atmosphere, and get ready to move – no dance experience required.
