Tuesday nights are movie nights this summer as The Oast House bring a little Hollywood magic to Spinningfields, with an outdoor schedule of blockbusters, comedies and family adventures that’s sure to please film fans keen to make the most of Manchester’s good weather.

Alongside sporting events such as Wimbledon and the World Athletics Championships, The Oast House screen will play host to everything from cult movies, such as family-favourite The Goonies (18 July) and the ever-popular Dirty Dancing (5 September), to more recent fare, like the new Beauty and the Beast starring Emma Watson (15 August) and Christopher Nolan’s mind-bending Inception (8 August).

There are a pair of blockbusters from Steven Spielberg, with alien-adventure E.T. (22 August) screening alongside nineties dino-thriller Jurassic Park (1 August). Meanwhile Adam Sandler makes an appearance in the programme with throwback, feel-good comedy The Wedding Singer (25 July), whilst Lindsay Lohan stars in the hilariously cut-throat Mean Girls (29 August).

As if that wasn’t enough, you can enjoy The Oast House’s food and drink menu – including their signature hanging kebabs and fun fondue – without missing a frame of the action. Simply order through the smartphone app and it’ll be served directly to your table.
