She Was Walking Home at Theatre@41, York 20 May 2022 Tickets from £5.00 — Book now

She Was Walking Home was originally created as an audio walk around York city centre but, but it’s now been transformed into a live stage show. It is a new piece of testimonial theatre that presents real life experiences of 33 women living, working and studying in York. Their stories are real, and raw. Full of fear, harassment, suspicion, disappointment, anger and, lastly, hope.

She Was Walking Home contributes to the conversation about women’s safety, pointing out that the voices of women need to be at the centre, but the responsibility and accountability lies elsewhere. This is your opportunity to join this conversation at Theatre@41.
