There’s every reason to dress to excess as Dragula’s Anna Phylactic and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’s Banksie host The AB FAB A-THON at New Century Hall this August.

This full-on celebration of Jennifer Saunders and Dawn French’s legendary sitcom Absolutely Fabulous sees the pair take on the roles of Eddie and Patsy for a packed evening featuring an Ab Fab catwalk, games, bottles of bolly (of course), fashion and screenings of fan favourite episodes on the big screen.

Presented as part of SCENE LGBTQ+ Film & Television Festival, the night is organised by Make A Scene, Manchester’s premiere camp film and television club, with thanks to the BFI National TV Archive.

Longstanding favourites of ours here at Creative Tourist, Make A Scene are known across the city for enhancing the big screen experience thanks to their exquisite taste and way too interactive screenings of queer classics from Showgirls to Hairspray.
